The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokolov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Odenkirk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sokolov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
No joy there for Sokolov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Odenkirk throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sokolov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A punch combination from Sokolov misses.

Odenkirk drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Odenkirk postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Odenkirk trying to control but Sokolov is working from the bottom.

Odenkirk slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Odenkirk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sokolov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sokolov is working an open guard so Odenkirk takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Odenkirk moves into the clinch.
Odenkirk tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sokolov's elbow.
Odenkirk throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sokolovs head.

Sokolov is trying to force a seperation but Odenkirk has the dominant position.

Odenkirk pushes Sokolov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Odenkirk takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Sokolov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sokolov cracks Odenkirk with a hook to the temple - Odenkirk is on wobbly legs here! Sokolov swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Odenkirk falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Sokolov wins by TKO!
