Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yngwie Malmsteen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Yngwie Malmsteen has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Yngwie Malmsteen seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malmsteen misses with a looping left.
Malmsteen bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cruz's head.
Malmsteen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cruz pushes Malmsteen away with a front kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Malmsteen, as that shot connected.
Cruz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Malmsteen takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Malmsteen lands a jab to Cruz's midsection.
Malmsteen thows a body shot but no joy.
Malmsteen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Malmsteen throws a nice looking combination but Cruz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cruz is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Malmsteen's half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Malmsteen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Malmsteen.
Cruz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Augusto Cruz wasn't active enough on the ground.
Cruz finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Cruz throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
No joy there for Malmsteen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Malmsteen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Cruz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Malmsteen.

Cruz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Malmsteen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cruz scrambles back to his feet.

Malmsteen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cruz.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cruz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Malmsteen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Malmsteen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A nice inside leg kick there by Cruz. That's going to slow Malmsteen down.

Cruz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cruz has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cruz there as he acknowledges the shot.
Malmsteen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cruz manages to avoid it.
Malmsteen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Malmsteen swats away the attempt to clinch by Cruz.
Malmsteen throws a jab but it's blocked by Cruz.
Cruz tries a head kick but it misses.
Malmsteen avoids the body shot from Cruz.
A slow jab from Malmsteen misses its intended target.
The fighters circle momentarily. Malmsteen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Cruz throws a head kick that misses.
A combination from Malmsteen does no damage.

Malmsteen throws a series of punches but Cruz avoids them all with ease.
Malmsteen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cruz sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Cruz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Oooooh!!! Malmsteen has knocked Cruz down with a huge combo! Malmsteen steps away and waves a wobbly Cruz back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Cruz is rocked!
Yngwie Malmsteen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Malmsteen connects with a superb combination that knocks Cruz out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Malmsteen before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Cruz!
