Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Malenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Krovaviy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krovaviy shoots in looking for a takedown but Malenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Krovaviy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Krovaviy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Malenko pinned against the cage. Malenko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Krovaviy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Malenko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Malenko looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Malenko!
Krovaviy wants to control but Malenko postures up.

Krovaviy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Malenko counters with a nice uppercut.

Krovaviy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Malenko is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Krovaviy looks calm but he's in trouble here. Malenko gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Krovaviy is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Malenko lets go of the hold and Krovaviy can pop his arm back in it's socket.
