Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Bower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silas Mayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter Bower has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bower keeps the fight on the outside.

Mayne lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Bower sprawling to the canvas. Mayne follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Bower hang on?
Mayne is trying to control the action in half guard but Bower is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Mayne wants to stand up but Bower is controlling the position.
Mayne takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Mayne looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mayne is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bower is just riding it out for now. Mayne eventually gives up the hold.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mayne connects with a nice short shot to Bower's temple.

Mayne is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bower is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mayne tries to pass to full mount but Bower defends it.
Mayne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bower. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
