The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hedman takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Hedman doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kurze counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kurze fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hedman needs to keep his hands up - Kurze had a free shot at his head there.
Kurze thuds his right hand into Hedman's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hedman is rocked!
Kurze throws an uppercut from hell that sends Hedman clean off his feet! He's out cold! Kurze stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
