A fine choice. Proudstar has chosen "Run to the hills" by Iron Maiden as his entrance music. Juliano Rocha has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proudstar tries to close the distance and clinch but Rocha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Proudstar moves in looking to clinch but Rocha pushes him off.

Rocha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Proudstar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Proudstar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rocha can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rocha is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Proudstar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Proudstar has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Proudstar takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Rocha's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
