The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Wrestler misses.

Wrestler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Van Berry circles away quickly and effectively.

Van Berry closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Van Berry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wrestler pinned against the cage. Wrestler gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wrestler throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Van Berry's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Wrestler dives in looking to finish as Van Berry flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Wrestler's strikes! Wrestler is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Van Berry's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Van Berry was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
