Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anton Goliathov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Severn has chosen ACDC hells bells as his entrance music. Anton Goliathov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anton Goliathov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Severn!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Severn drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Goliathov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Severn has Goliathov in his guard.
Goliathov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Severn on the ground.

Goliathov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Severn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Goliathov has managed to get both his arms back between Severn's legs - danger averted.

Severn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Goliathov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A jab from Goliathov finds it's way through Severn's defenses.
Goliathov throws a nice looking combination but Severn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Severn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goliathov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Severn somewhat.

Goliathov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Severn's head.
Goliathov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Severn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Sloppy strikes from Goliathov. Those never looked like landing.
Severn avoids the body shot from Goliathov.
Severn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goliathov as he jumps to the side.

Goliathov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Severn. Severn circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Severn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Goliathov on his heels. He'll look to pass Goliathov's guard now, I'm sure.

Dan Severn has got the better of the ground game so far.
Goliathov pushes Severn away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Severn gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Severn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Goliathov's waist but Goliathov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Severn off to one side.

Goliathov tries to bum rush Severn with a series of wild strikes but Severn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Severn shoots in looking for a takedown. Goliathov tries to sprawl out of it but Severn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Goliathov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Goliathov fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Severn is out of range.
Goliathov is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Severn is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Goliathov looks calm but he's in trouble here. Severn gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Goliathov is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Severn lets go of the hold and Goliathov can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dan Severn!
After winning the bout, Dan Severn thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
