The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - McIllhenny circles away.
McIllhenny scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Scott Silva has been cut.
McIllhenny lands a really nice looking cross but Silva seems unphased.
McIllhenny fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McIllhenny connects with a right hand. Silva shakes it off.
McIllhenny misses with a double jab.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McIllhenny circles away quickly and effectively.
McIllhenny misses with the body kick
and McIllhenny takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McIllhenny ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and McIllhenny connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McIllhenny connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Silva's hands.
McIllhenny fails to land with a series of punches.
McIllhenny throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McIllhenny misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva walks into a straight right hand from McIllhenny.

Silva is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

A very excited looking Fink McIllhenny rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
