Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luis Carlos Linhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tomasz Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kowalski throws a lazy head kick
and Linhares counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kowalski on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Kowalski throws a shot from downtown. Linhares moves away and avoids it.
Kowalski misses with a hook. Linhares ducked under it nicely.

Linhares stuffs the takedown attempt from Kowalski. Kowalski gets slowly back to his feet.
Linhares tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Linhares with a body punch. A glancing blow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kowalski chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Linhares can pounce on him.
Kowalski tries for a takedown but Linhares circles away easily
and Linhares makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Linhares scores with a push kick.
Kowalski looks gassed!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kowalski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Linhares - the referee stops the clock and Kowalski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Linhares. Kowalski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kowalski on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Linhares fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kowalski.
Linhares jabs at Kowalski's body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kowalski sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Linhares lands a leg kick that knocks Kowalski off balance momentarily.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Linhares knocks Kowalski out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Luis Carlos Linhares!
