The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with an uppercut
and George counters with a leg kick.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by George.
George thows a left - swing and a miss!
George pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones moves out of range as George throws a body kick.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
George slips under a jab from Jones.
Jones throws a body punch but George moves out of range.
A big left from Jones misses.
George connects with a solid leg kick.
George avoids the body shot from Jones.
George slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
George chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and George counters with a low kick, right behind Jones 's knee.
Jones throws an ugly left hook that misses
and George counters with a slapping leg kick.

George moves out of range of the strikes.
Jones avoids the head kick by George.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Jones is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
George uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jones has time to react.
George uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones.
Jones closes the distance and lands a one-two.

George displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones looks gassed!
George buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones throws an off balance right hand
and George counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jones thinking.
George dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage!
George lands a head kick. Jones smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
George throws a head kick that half lands.
Jones chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before George can pounce on him.
George misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
George throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Jones on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Rocky Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
George lands a jab to the nose.
George chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A jab from George does it's job there.
George connects with the punch.
Jones on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
George throws a leg kick which misses Jones's front leg but catches the back leg as Jones tries to avoid it.

Jones takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
George lands a big head kick that sends Jones to the canvas! George follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
