Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between KyNT ThE SharK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Kickasschenkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, KyNT ThE SharK!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vladimir Kickasschenkov!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

ThE SharK shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kickasschenkov is trying to defend but ThE SharK finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kickasschenkov is not content to let ThE SharK control the position.
Kickasschenkov is trying to stand back up but ThE SharK is controlling him
Well, if ThE SharK is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kickasschenkov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
ThE SharK wants to control from the top but Kickasschenkov keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. KyNT ThE SharK wasn't doing enough on the ground.

ThE SharK gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kickasschenkov is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but ThE SharK is defending well.
ThE SharK stalling.
ThE SharK prevents Kickasschenkov from breaking the clinch.
Kickasschenkov wants to take the fight to the mat but ThE SharK manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Kickasschenkov tries to land knees in the clinch but ThE SharK avoids the damage to the body.
Kickasschenkov goes for a takedown in the clinch but ThE SharK prevents it.
KyNT ThE SharK has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Kickasschenkov.

ThE SharK drags the fight down to the ground.
ThE SharK wants to improve his position but instead Kickasschenkov has moved into half guard.

ThE SharK has one foot on Kickasschenkov's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Kickasschenkov misses with a takedown attempt

and ThE SharK counters by moving into the clinch.

ThE SharK has hold of one of Kickasschenkov's legs. Kickasschenkov is fighting the takedown attempt but ThE SharK gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
ThE SharK has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
ThE SharK prevents Kickasschenkov from getting back to his feet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kickasschenkov is on top in guard.
ThE SharK on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if ThE SharK tries to get out of the position.

Kickasschenkov wants to control from the top but ThE SharK keeps moving.

Kickasschenkov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kickasschenkov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
ThE SharK is breathing heavily.
ThE SharK controls Kickasschenkov momentarily but Kickasschenkov frees himself.

ThE SharK is not content to let Kickasschenkov control the position.

Kickasschenkov tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
ThE SharK really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that KyNT ThE SharK will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Kickasschenkov fails with a takedown attempt.

ThE SharK closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kickasschenkov sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kickasschenkov is trying to maintain the position but ThE SharK is very close to passing his half guard.
Kickasschenkov makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kickasschenkov.
ThE SharK would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Kickasschenkov is trying to keep ThE SharK in close.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kickasschenkov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. ThE SharK manages to get himself to full guard.

ThE SharK is really struggling to control Kickasschenkov but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kickasschenkov pushes down on ThE SharK's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kickasschenkov wants to control but ThE SharK is keeping him busy.

Kickasschenkov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Kickasschenkov seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
ThE SharK wants to control the action here but instead Kickasschenkov manages to pass to full mount!
Kickasschenkov trying to control but he's not successful this time.
ThE SharK knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kickasschenkov on the ground.
Kickasschenkov sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

ThE SharK is squirming around, avoiding Kickasschenkov's attempts to control the action.
Kickasschenkov throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for ThE SharK because Kickasschenkov loaded up on that one.
Kickasschenkov misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
ThE SharK tries to control the position but Kickasschenkov now has his back.

Kickasschenkov has got one arm under ThE SharK's chin. This could be trouble... ThE SharK trying to control the other hand but Kickasschenkov gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, ThE SharK has tapped out! The fight is over!
