Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kiyah Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Steptoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steptoe has chosen . as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Steptoe!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsumoto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Steptoe was well out of range. Poor timing from Matsumoto.
Steptoe swings for the body but Matsumoto moves out of range.
Steptoe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matsumoto moves away.
Matsumoto throws a big shot that misses.
Matsumoto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steptoe manages to avoid it.
Nice straight punches there by Matsumoto. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Matsumoto.
Matsumoto ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Matsumoto drives through and clinches with Steptoe against the cage.

Steptoe has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Matsumoto clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
You can see the frustration on Matsumoto's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That was a close round but I would say that Kiyah Matsumoto will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kiyah Matsumoto.
Well Matsumoto has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
