Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Will Sheff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theodore Donald Kerabatsos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerabatsos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Creedence Clearwater Revival - Looking Out My Backdoor. Will Sheff has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Sheff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Theodore Donald Kerabatsos!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheff looks to land a combination but Kerabatsos avoids it well.
Kerabatsos lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sheff misses with a few strikes there.
Kerabatsos stuffs the takedown attempt from Sheff. Sheff gets slowly back to his feet.
Sheff scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kerabatsos throws a nice inside leg kick.
Sheff shoots in but Kerabatsos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sheff walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kerabatsos.
Sheff throws a right and a left that Kerabatsos avoids nicely.
Sheff is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kerabatsos.
A jab from Sheff misses.
Kerabatsos throws a series of punches but Sheff moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sheff shoots in but Kerabatsos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Sheff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sheff ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kerabatsos uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sheff swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sheff smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The crowd cheers as Sheff lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kerabatsos doesn't seem phased though.
Nice sprawl there from Kerabatsos as Sheff shoots in.
Sheff slips a jab and a cross from Kerabatsos.
Sheff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kerabatsos tries to avoid it but Sheff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kerabatsos to the ground. Kerabatsos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sheff shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kerabatsos's guard.

Kerabatsos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sheff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sheff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sheff missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Sheff seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Sheff throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Sheff trying to control the position from guard on top but Kerabatsos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sheff passes into half guard.

Sheff scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Kerabatsos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sheff controlling the action here.
Sheff throwing shots but Kerabatsos is blocking nicely.
Sheff seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Sheff wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kerabatsos keeps working.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sheff throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Sheff thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kerabatsos's head.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sheff takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Will Sheff has been cut.
Theodore Donald Kerabatsos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A low kick from Sheff misses
letting Kerabatsos counter with a right hand.


Sheff is rocked!
Kerabatsos lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Sheff is looking to close the distance but Kerabatsos sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Sheff crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Sheff is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
