The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray works ober's body with a nice hook.
Ray throws a shot from downtown. ober moves away and avoids it.
ober bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
ober displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ray throws out the jab.
Ray misses with a wild body shot.
Ray misses with an uppercut.
Ray loads up on a big right hand but ober slips the punch.
ober tries a head kick but it misses.
Ray stuffs the takedown attempt from ober. ober gets slowly back to his feet.
Ray scores with a punch to the head.
Ray swings and misses with a hook to the body.

ober shoots in and bounces Ray off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
ober pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ray is keeping the position for now.
ober works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Ray tries to roll over but ober keeps him under control.

ober is looking for a kimura but Ray is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for ober to get the leverage.

Ray is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but ober pulls his head out easily.

ober can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ray is looking to escape.

ober has control of Ray's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ray regains control of the situation pretty easily.

ober gets to his feet - Ray follows without any prompting.

ober feints and as Ray raises his hands in defense, ober changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
ober passes easily into side control. Nice work.

ober is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ray is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
ober passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ray!

Ray throws a jab when ober was well out of range.

ober lands a huge takedown. Ray is out but the ref is slow to react and ober lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Ray lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
