Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jens Petersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Bronk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Paul Bronk enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jens Petersen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Bronk!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Petersen drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bronk wants to stand but Petersen is controlling the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bronk is on top in guard.

Petersen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bronk defends well.
Bronk wants to control from the top but Petersen keeps moving.

Petersen is working an open guard so Bronk takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Bronk moves in looking to clinch but Petersen pushes him off.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bronk is defended easily by Petersen.

Petersen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bronk sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Petersen somewhat.
Bronk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Petersen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bronk dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Petersen. That did some damage!

Bronk closes the distance and pushes Petersen back into the cage.

Bronk has Petersen pressed against the cage, preventing Petersen from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Petersen wants to take the fight to the mat but Bronk manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Bronk comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Petersen forces Bronk back against the cage and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Petersen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Petersen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bronk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bronk wants to get back to his feet but Petersen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Petersen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Petersen shoots in for a takedown but Bronk shows good takedown defense.

Petersen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bronk tries to avoid it but Petersen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bronk to the ground. Bronk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Petersen throws a nice looking combination but Bronk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Petersen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Petersen wants it to stay on the feet.
Bronk connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bronk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Petersen sprawls well. Petersen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bronk gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Petersen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bronk takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Petersen gets tackled into the cage by Bronk. Bronk maintains the clinch.
Bronk drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Petersen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Bronk tries a body shot but Petersen blocks it.

Petersen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bronk just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bronk digs a right hand into Petersen's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Petersen's gas tank.

Bronk stalling in the clinch but Petersen improves position.
Bronk landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bronk throws a right hand that Petersen ducks under and follows up with a left that Petersen also avoids with ease.

Bronk shoots in looking for a takedown but Petersen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bronk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Petersen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Bronk shoots in for a takedown but Petersen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bronk lands a really nice looking cross but Petersen seems unphased.

Petersen drives through with a takedown into Bronk's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Petersen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bronk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bronk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bronk!

Petersen is looking for a sweep.
Bronk is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Petersen's shoulder. That is not cool.
Petersen tries to improve position but can't.
Petersen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Petersen tries to get out of the position.

Bronk decides to stand up, so the ref orders Petersen to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Petersen instigates a clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bronk is trying to maintain a safe position but Petersen gets an underhook and turns Bronk into the cage.
Jens Petersen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Petersen crunches a lovely knee into Bronk's ribcage.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Paul Bronk.
Well Bronk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
