Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daemon Blackfyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Taylor pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Taylor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blackfyre was well out of range. Poor timing from Taylor.
Blackfyre moves away from the strike by Taylor.
Taylor misses with a hook.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blackfyre is defended easily by Taylor.
Taylor lands a body shot.
Dennis Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taylor fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Blackfyre on the side of the head.
Taylor rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Blackfyre counters with a shoot takedown. Taylor fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Taylor wants to get back to his feet but Blackfyre is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blackfyre keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Taylor's efforts to push away.
Taylor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Taylor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blackfyre moves away.

Taylor loads up on a big right hand but Blackfyre slips the punch.

No joy there for Taylor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blackfyre dives in and scores a takedown into Taylor's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blackfyre postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Blackfyre changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Taylor tries to avoid it but Blackfyre manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Taylor to the ground. Taylor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Taylor throws a sloppy head kick and Blackfyre moves out of range easily.

Blackfyre moves away from the strike by Taylor.
Taylor tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Taylor looks to land a left hand but Blackfyre moved out of range nicely.
Taylor moves into range and connects with a jab.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Blackfyre keeps control of Taylor as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Taylor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Blackfyre fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Taylor tries to clinch up but Blackfyre circles away and keeps his distance.
Taylor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Taylor darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Jab, jab by Taylor - just one landing.
Blackfyre is rocked!
Blackfyre's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Blackfyre duly obliges.
The fight stays on the outside here - Blackfyre looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Taylor lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Oh Blackfyre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Taylor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Blackfyre doesn't seem bothered though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Taylor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Blackfyre.
Blackfyre seems to have got his legs back now.
Taylor misses with a looping left.
Taylor rushes Blackfyre and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Taylor scores with a nice short uppercut.

Taylor breaks from the clinch.
Taylor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Blackfyre's head.
Blackfyre changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Taylor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Taylor is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Blackfyre has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Blackfyre trying to control the action but Taylor is working from the bottom.
Taylor is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Blackfyre asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Blackfyre decides to stand up, so the ref orders Taylor to his feet.
Taylor tries to clinch but Blackfyre is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dennis Taylor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Blackfyre's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
