Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Rogov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Lens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rogov comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica-Memory Remains. Lens has chosen End of Days as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lens shoots in and drives through. Rogov sprawls well.
A jab from Rogov does it's job there.


It looks like Aleksander Lens has been cut.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lens throws a right and a left that both miss.

Rogov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lens's waist but Lens gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rogov off to one side.

Come on Rogov - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Rogov for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Lens has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rogov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Lens changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rogov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rogov wants to get back to his feet but Lens drags him back down.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lens thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A very excited looking Alexander Rogov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
