Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pai Mei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rayn MaClough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rayn MaClough will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MaClough wants to clinch but Mei slips to the side
and Mei counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. MaClough is lucky that one didn't land flush.

so Mei counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Mei drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mei jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
MaClough keeping moving, preventing Mei from controlling successfully.
MaClough looking for a sweep. Not yet MaClough, not yet.
MaClough wants to hit a switch here but Mei passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for MaClough there!
Mei lands a nice shot to the head.
MaClough working to try and regain half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mei working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
MaClough tries to hold on but Mei postures up.

Mei looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
MaClough can't escape the position.
Mei controlling the pace for now.
Mei has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MaClough is looking to improve his position but Mei isn't that keen on the idea.

MaClough is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

MaClough is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mei locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! MaClough is forced to tap!
