Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Wesley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshiro Kasumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wesley might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eminem - Go To Sleep. Kasumi has chosen Ai Wo Torimodose aka Song of Manliness as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesley tries to clinch up but Kasumi circles away and keeps his distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kasumi.
No joy there for Wesley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kasumi throws a head kick that Wesley semi-blocks.

It looks like Christian Wesley has been cut.
Wesley scores with a hook to the body. Kasumi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kasumi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wesley wants to clinch up but Kasumi keeps it at a distance.
Kasumi pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wesley is out of range and Kasumi settles back down.
Wesley connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kasumi. Kasumi circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Wesley counters with a big head kick but Kasumi shrugs it off.
Kasumi throws a right hand that Wesley ducks under and follows up with a left that Wesley also avoids with ease.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Christian Wesley just wasn't active enough.
Kasumi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wesley is fending him off so far but Kasumi persists. Nope, Wesley circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Christian Wesley will probably get the nod.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kasumi checks a leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kasumi. Wesley does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kenshiro Kasumi seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kasumi leaves Wesley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kasumi.
Kasumi lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Kasumi jabs Wesley to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kasumi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wesley's calf.
Kasumi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wesley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kasumi pinned against the cage. Kasumi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Oh Wesley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kasumi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wesley's guard.
Kasumi arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Wesley's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
