Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jd Almanez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Almanez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rock Hood by Shinobi Ninja. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
White takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
White with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Almanez to score with a decent uppercut.
Almanez throws the left hand but White avoids the punch easily.
White tries a head kick but it misses.
White ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Almanez jabs White right on the nose. White blinks but takes it well.
A nice combination there by Almanez.
White throws a hook but Almanez avoids it easily.
Nice cross by White.
Almanez misses with a left hand
and White counters with a slapping leg kick.
Almanez misses with a looping left.
White cracks Almanez with a good jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Almanez, as that shot connected.
Almanez looks to throw the jab but White is out of range.
Almanez takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and White counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Almanez connects with a jab.
White pivots, looking for a leg kick but Almanez is out of range and White settles back down.
White shoots and misses
and Almanez counters with a straight right hand.

Almanez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Almanez wants it to stay on the feet.
White takes one on the button.
A nice inside leg kick there by White. That's going to slow Almanez down.
A telegraphed right hand from White misses the target.

Almanez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but White has him pressed against the cage.
White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

White takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Almanez is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Almanez cracks White with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Almanez feints and then cracks White's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow White down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Almanez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by White.

White shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than White was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Almanez drops back, looking for a kneebar! White looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. White looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from White!
White is looking to take a break and control but Almanez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Almanez dodges the ground and pound from White.

You can see the frustration on Almanez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Almanez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
