Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ricky Vaughn was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn looks to throw the jab but Blake is out of range.

Vaughn might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Some bone on bone action there as Blake checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Blake will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Vaughn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blake has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blake and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ricky Vaughn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Blake looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Blake is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Vaughn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blake sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vaughn's guard.

Blake goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Vaughn turns into him and now he's in Blake's guard.

Blake has his foot on Vaughn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vaughn works his way back into a safe position though.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ricky Vaughn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
