Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Thiago Silva enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle misses with the combination.
Silva tries for a takedown but Kyle sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Silva slips under a jab from Kyle.
Kyle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kyle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kyle throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Kyle misses with a double jab.
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kyle swivels and escapes.
Silva walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kyle.
Michael Kyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kyle tries a head kick but it misses.
Kyle misses with a two punch combination.
Kyle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kyle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kyle as he avoids it easily.
Michael Kyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Silva.
Kyle pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Silva is looking to clinch.
Silva tries to clinch up.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kyle sprawls well. Kyle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

Kyle tries to kick Silva off in order to stand up. Silva Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Kyle is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Silva asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kyle prevents Silva from improving position.
Kyle is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Silva is controlling him well.

Silva decides to take the fight back to the feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kyle loads up on a big right hand but Silva slips the punch.

Kyle throws a right and a left that both miss.

Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kyle was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kyle wants to stand up but Silva is controlling him.
Silva slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Kyle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Silva stops Kyle from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is pushing down on Kyle's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kyle is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kyle is looking to get back to is feet but Silva passes into side control.
Silva landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Kyle bucks up and tries to throw Silva off but instead Silva has got his back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kyle did well to prevent Silva getting side control.
