And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Belich scores with a decent looking hook.
Belich's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Belich duly obliges.
It looks like Rafael Joao has been cut.
Joao is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Joao is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Belich.
Belich lands with a good body shot.
Rafael Joao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belich throws a combination. Joao tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Joao shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Belich as he jumps to the side.
Belich lands a glancing blow to the side of Joao's head.
Joao is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Joao darts in trying to clinch
and Belich counters with a right hand to the body.
Belich throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Joao is still on wobbly legs! Can Belich finish him?
Joao looks for a takedown but Belich sprawls well.
Joao seems to have recovered his senses.
Joao shoots in looking for a takedown. Belich tries to sprawl out of it but Joao keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Belich manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Niko Belich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Joao.
Belich catches Joao with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Belich tests Joao's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Joao throws a head kick that misses.
Belich uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Joao has time to react.
Horrible takedown by Joao or perhaps it was just good defense by Belich which made him look bad.
Joao looks gassed!
Belich lands a jab.
Belich lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Joao can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Belich and Joao drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Belich.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Niko Belich!
