Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chop Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick comes to the cage accompanied by Prodigy - No Good. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chop Dick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Savage!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Savage misses with the body kick

and Dick counters with a single leg into guard. Savage didn't expect that.
Savage wants to get back to his feet but Dick is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Savage has control of Dick's left arm, preventing Dick from doing any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Savage darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Savage throws a head kick but Dick moves out of range.
Savage thuds his right hand into Dick's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Savage fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Savage buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Randy Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Savage connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dick's hands.
Savage bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Chop Dick has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Savage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dick manages to avoid it.
Savage swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dick.
Savage connects with the punch.
Dick slips a jab from Savage.
Savage scores with a nice head shot.
Savage clobbers Dick with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dick misses with a body shot.
Dick walks into a stiff left hand from Savage.

Dick walks into a straight right hand from Savage.
Savage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dick moves away.
Savage stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Dick connects with a body shot.
Savage lands a jab to Dick's midsection.
Savage throws a jab but it's blocked by Dick.
Savage cracks Dick with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Savage is looking to chop away at Dick's legs.
Dick moves away from the strike by Savage.
Savage fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dick has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Savage throws a head kick that Dick semi-blocks.

Dick takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Chop Dick's cut is getting worse.
A shot to the liver by Savage. Beautiful body shot.
Savage lands a right hook to the body.
Randy Savage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dick walks into a left hand.
Savage just misses with a punch to the body.
Dick drops his hands momentarily and Savage takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dick throws a hook to the side of Savage's head but Savage sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Savage scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dick in his tracks.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Savage - that will leave a mark!
Dick stalks Savage and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Savage's face. Savage staggers backwards, shaken.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randy Savage dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dick drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Savage lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dick tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Savage was well out of range. Poor timing from Dick.

Dick throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Savage ducks under a wild hook from Dick.
Dick misses with a hook. Savage ducked under it nicely.
Savage getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Savage lands a glancing blow to the side of Dick's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dick just misses with a punch to the body.
Dick is looking to wear down Savage with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Dick takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Savage looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Dick takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Savage bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dick's head.
Savage scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Chop Dick's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Savage scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Savage listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Savage cracks Dick with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Dick fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dick closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Savage moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Savage looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Savage throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Dick chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Savage can pounce on him.
Dick walks into a left hand.

Jeez, Chop Dick's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Savage throws a quick inside leg kick.

Savage misses with an uppercut. Dick saw that one coming.
Dick is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Savage ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Savage has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dick crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Savage - the referee stops the clock and Dick gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Savage. Dick manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dick looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dick takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Savage lands a nice hook to Dick's body. Dick takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dick takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
