Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pepe LePew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deacon Griggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LePew kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Smoke Serpent- . Griggs is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Church by T-Pain. Deacon Griggs told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Griggs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
LePew tries to score a power double leg takedown but Griggs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten LePew somewhat.
Deacon Griggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Griggs got a little sloppy there for a moment and LePew has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Griggs has managed to get both his arms back between LePew's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I would just about give that final round to Deacon Griggs.
Well Griggs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
