Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard B Riddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chavez has chosen Mexican Mariachi as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Riddick misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Chavez counters with a three punch combo that has Riddick backing up. Riddick nods at Chavez to acknowledge the strikes.
Riddick throws a jab but it's blocked by Chavez.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Riddick throws a predictable looking body shot
and Chavez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Riddick falls off balance throwing a combination
and Chavez counters with a thumping low kick.
Chavez swinging wildly here.
A nice leg kick lands there from Chavez.
Chavez punishes Riddick 's body with a nice straight punch.
Riddick is breathing heavily.
Riddick jabs Chavez right on the nose. Chavez blinks but takes it well.
Riddick shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chavez as he avoids it easily.
Riddick swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Chavez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Chavez drops Riddick with a beautiful combination! Riddick stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Chavez is looking for the KO!
Riddick is rocked!
It looks like Richard B Riddick has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chavez chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Oh Riddick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chavez weaves into range and cracks Riddick right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Riddick goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Chavez is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Angel Chavez!
Angel Chavez decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
