Silva comes to the cage accompanied by 2 Chainz-Riot. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ernest Bass!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silva.
Bass displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
Bass misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bass throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Bass sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andreago Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva slips a jab from Bass.
Bass lands with a big left! Silva is wobbled badly! Bass comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Silva to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

A relieved looking Ernest Bass thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
