The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boisson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Chegod tries to buck Boisson off but Boisson is having none of it.
Chegod is being controlled here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Pierre Boisson.

Boisson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Chegod to the ground. Boisson is now in Chegod's guard.

Chegod looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boisson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Chegod keeping moving, preventing Boisson from controlling successfully.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Pierre Boisson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Boisson checks a low kick from Chegod.

Boisson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Boisson wants to pass the guard but Chegod is defending well.

Boisson is looking to pass Chegod's guard but actually Chegod recovers to full guard.
Chegod looking to control but Boisson passes into half guard.

Chegod looking for submissions off his back.

Boisson trying to pass the guard but Chegod defending well.
Chegod wants to improve his position but Boisson is controlling well.
Boisson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boisson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Boisson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Chegod!

Chegod tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Chegod's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Boisson feints and as Chegod raises his hands in defense, Boisson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Boisson pushes down on Chegod's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Chegod is pressing down on Boisson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Boisson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Boisson is staying tight to Chegod's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Chegod is trying to improve his position.

Boisson just content to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Chegod struggling a bit here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Boisson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Boisson tries to pass to full mount but Chegod defends it.

Chegod looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Chegod wants to improve his position but Boisson is controlling well.

Boisson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Boisson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Boisson is taking a breather. Chegod says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Pierre Boisson wasn't active enough on the ground.
Chegod fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Boisson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chegod was covering up waiting for the punch and Boisson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Boisson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chegod is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boisson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pierre Boisson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Boisson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Boisson showed some decent athleticism there.
Boisson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Boisson works his foot free and advances to mount.
Boisson controlling the position easily from mount.
Boisson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Chegod is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Boisson controlling his opponent.
Boisson avoids the attempt from Chegod to control.
Chegod is controlling an arm, preventing Boisson from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Boisson controlling the position easily from mount.

Pierre Boisson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Boisson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
