Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brock Edward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Louis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aaron Louis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Louis shoots in and gets a takedown into Edward's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Edward wants to stand up but Louis is controlling him.
Louis throws an elbow that misses. Edward uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Louis's guard. Nice move by Edward!

Edward decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Louis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Edward closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Louis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Edward. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Louis tries to hold on but Edward pushes him away.
Louis is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Edward wants to control the pace but Louis is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Louis is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Edward lands a heavy elbow.
Edward is landing with some decent strikes but Louis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Edward connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Edward is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Louis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Edward can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Louis is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Edward is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Louis to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Louis shrugs it off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Edward throws some wild stikes that Louis manages to avoid easily.

Louis drops Edward with a left right combo! Louis follows him down to the ground into side control.

Edward is rocked!

It looks like Brock Edward has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Louis lands a big left to the face of Edward, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Louis and another - Edward is out! Louis stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
