And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hjalmar Dale!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dale slaps away a takedown attempt from Watermelon, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dale tries to bum rush Watermelon with a series of wild strikes but Watermelon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looks like Phil Watermelon has been cut.

Dale throws a push kick but Watermelon slaps the foot to one side.

Watermelon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dale tries to avoid it but Watermelon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dale to the ground. Dale escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dale cracks Watermelon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Hjalmar Dale seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Watermelon misses with a takedown
and Dale counters with a three punch combo that has Watermelon backing up. Watermelon nods at Dale to acknowledge the strikes.
Dale scores with a crisp jab that stopped Watermelon in his tracks.
Dale thuds a left hand into Watermelon's body.
Dale fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dale takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Watermelon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dale.
Dale scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Watermelon doesn't seem bothered though.

Dale keeps Watermelon at a distance using the push kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Dale.
Dale lands a nice leg kick that just misses Watermelon's sensitive parts.
Dale Rushes Watermelon and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Watermelon is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Dale Piles on the pressure and Watermelon crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hjalmar Dale!
Hjalmar Dale decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
