Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wranch Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Banas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Artur Banas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Banas drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Banas creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hammer sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Hammer is breathing heavily.
Banas content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Banas cracks Hammer with a big right hand but Hammer just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Banas is staying tight to Hammer's torso, preventing him from escaping.
It looks like Banas might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Banas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hammer takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
