Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Soon Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gob Bluthe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gob Bluthe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Do tenderised Bluthe's leg. Bluthe is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bluthe throws a right hand that Do ducks under and follows up with a left that Do also avoids with ease.
A jab from Do finds it's way through Bluthe's defenses.
Do wants to clinch.
Do misses the jab.

Do moves into the clinch.

Bluthe is trying to push Do away but Do has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bluthe has Do pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Do manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Do tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Do throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Do lands an uppercut.
Do misses with a punch to the body.
Bluthe wants a takedown.
Do lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bluthe backwards.
Bluthe tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Do smiles and moves away.
Soon Do has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gob Bluthe.
Do misses with a wild body shot.
Bluthe misses with a jab, cross combination.

Do moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bluthe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Do scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bluthe throws the left hand but Do avoids the punch easily.
Do moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Do looking to score a takedown here. Bluthe is defending well but Do drives through and ends up in Bluthe's guard.

Do loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Do throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Do throwing strikes from guard but Bluthe blocks nicely.

Bluthe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Do doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Do manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Do has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bluthe is looking to regain half guard here but Do keeps moving and retains side control.
Do grinds an elbow into Bluthe's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Do creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Do throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Bluthe works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Do is trying to control the action in half guard but Bluthe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Do in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Do works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Bluthe tries to improve position but can't.

Do is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bluthe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bluthe is looking for a sweep.

Bluthe seems to have recovered his senses.
Bluthe tries to bench press Do off him but Do keeps the position.

Do in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Bluthe looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Do turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Soon Do!
Soon Do decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
