Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chase Rollins!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollins jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fighters circling - Rollins throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rollins throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Fair misses with a takedown attempt
and Rollins counters with a slapping leg kick.
Fair moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rollins throws a push kick but Fair slaps the foot to one side.
Fair blocks a jab.
Fair misses with a takedown
and Rollins makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Rollins smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Rollins throws a leg kick but Fair moved away.
Rollins misses with a few strikes there.
Rollins scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rollins throws a right and a left that Fair avoids nicely.
Rollins stuns Fair with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Rollins throws a body punch but Fair moves out of range.

Rollins slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Rollins is working Fair over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Fair takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Chase Rollins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fair tries to score with some ground and pound. Rollins controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Fair tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fair has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Fair goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Rollins rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fair's guard! Nice work there by Rollins!
Fair has momentary wrist control but Rollins slips an elbow through the middle.
Rollins wants to control from the top but Fair keeps moving.

Fair is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fair tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Rollins is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Rollins lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Rollins is pushing down on Fair's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fair is fighting to maintain full guard but Rollins has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rollins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Fair is refusing to be controlled, as Rollins sits in half guard.

Chase Rollins has got the better of the ground game so far.
Rollins is pressing down on Fair's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fair is holding on for now.
Rollins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fair with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Zack Fair has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Rollins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
