The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omalley throws a quick inside leg kick.
Omalley lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Siwon has taken the fight to the clinch.

Omalley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Siwon can't fight it off and eventually Omalley manages to take the fight to the floor. Siwon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Omalleyis looking to pass into half guard but Siwon pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Siwon is in guard.

Omalley has control of Siwon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Siwon regains control of the situation pretty easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Omalley has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Siwon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Omalley.

Omalley stuffs the takedown attempt from Siwon. Siwon gets slowly back to his feet.
Omalley throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Siwon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Omalley as he jumps to the side.
Omalley slaps away a takedown attempt from Siwon, before circling back to the center of the mat.
