Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crimson Tide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Screw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Screw has chosen Harmonium as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Crimson Tide!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathan Screw!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tide takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Screw misses with a few strikes there.

and Tide counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Screw is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tide is controlling him well.
Screw is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Tide with the ground and pound but Screw regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Tide wants to get back to his feet.
Tide wants to take a breather but Screw is having none of it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tide tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Screw.

Tide tries to pass the half guard into mount. Screw knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Tide is looking to take a break and control but Screw is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Still in half guard, Tide seems content to control.

Screw kicks off Tide and gets to his feet.

Screw stalks Tide and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tide's face. Tide staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tide closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Screw's guard.
Tide trying to control the position from guard on top but Screw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Screw wants to stand up but Tide is controlling him.

Screw keeping full guard, as Tide tries to pass.
Tide prevents Screw from getting back to his feet.

Tide gets to his feet - Screw follows without any prompting.
Tide fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Screw throws a nice looking combination but Tide bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tide shoots in and drives through. Screw sprawls well.
Screw swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tide.
Screw pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tide back to the cage. Screw follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Screw misses with a straight left.

Screw lands with a cross.
Screw scores with a nice head shot.
Tide shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Screw is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Screw shuts the power down on Tide. Lights out, game over! Screw is your winner.

During a confident post fight interview, Nathan Screw thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
