PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kid Kamakazi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skyler Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamakazi comes into the arena with Cooking by the book blaring out of the sound system. Nelson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. One kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kamakazi drops Nelson with a beautiful combination! Nelson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kamakazi is looking for the KO!

It looks like Skyler Nelson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nelson drags the fight down to the ground.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kamakazi tries to stand but Nelson is controlling from the bottom.

Nelson is working an open guard so Kamakazi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nelson ducks right into an uppercut from Kamakazi.
Nelson throws a series of punches but Kamakazi avoids them all with ease.
Kamakazi stuffs the takedown.
Kamakazi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nelson looks gassed!
Nelson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kamakazi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nelson somewhat.
Kamakazi drops Nelson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Nelson! Kamakazi dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kid Kamakazi!
