Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boyko Borisov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Borisov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Boyko Borisov is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Borisov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
James misses with a double jab.
James missing with a left hand there. Borisov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Borisov checks the leg kick.
James takes a jab right on the kisser.

Borisov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Jake James has been cut.
Borisov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Borisov throws a right hand that James ducks under and follows up with a left that James also avoids with ease.
Borisov misses with a two punch combination.
Borisov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
James on the wrong end of a nice hook.

James looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

James is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Borisov has managed to free his arm - good work.

James is trying to control the action in half guard but Borisov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
James prevents Borisov from standing back up.
James not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Borisov is staying active underneath James, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

James wants to pass to mount but Borisov is defending the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
James wants to control the pace but Borisov is squirming around nicely.

James lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

James is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Borisov is surviving well by controlling James's body position as best he can.

James takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
