Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pure White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Rick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo Rick told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rick ducks right into an uppercut from White.
White throws an off balance right hand
and Rick counters with a nice double leg into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Rick controls from within his opponent's guard.
White is pulling down on Rick's head to control his posture.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ricardo Rick wasn't active enough on the ground.

White throws out a loose jab but Rick uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pure White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Rick.

Rick looks for a takedown but White sprawls well.
Rick shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has White pinned against the cage. White gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
