Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Super Trooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trooper comes to the cage accompanied by №1. Paul White has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Super Trooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul White!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White forces Trooper back against the cage and clinches.
White working hard to break the clinch.

White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
White fails with the takedown.
White is looking to clinch but Trooper is avoiding it.
A slow jab from White misses its intended target.
Trooper misses with a few strikes there.
White catches Trooper with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!


It looks like Super Trooper has been cut.

enabling White to counter with a crisp jab.
White fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Trooper misses with a hook. White ducked under it nicely.
Trooper throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.
Trooper bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Trooper counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trooper looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

White keeping moving, preventing Trooper from controlling successfully.
Trooper trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

White looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trooper is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Super Trooper has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
White looks to land a combination but Trooper avoids it well.
White tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from White is defended easily by Trooper.
Super Trooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul White.

White avoids a punch combination nicely.

White gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Trooper.

White steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Trooper.
White ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Trooper dodges the punch combination from White.
Some wild striking there from White.
Trooper fails with a takedown attempt.
White cracks a nice hook into Trooper's ribs.
White moves out of range as Trooper strikes.
White swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Trooper swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
White fails to land with a series of punches.

Trooper throws a hook to the side of White's head but White sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Trooper throws an off balance right hand
and White counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

White looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
White passes Trooper's left leg - he's now in half guard.
White is looking to stall here but Trooper recovers full guard.
White is looking to advance position but Trooper has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee warns White that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
White is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Super Trooper will probably get the nod.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Trooper throws a right and a left that both miss.
White throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Trooper throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
White is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
White tries to clinch there but Trooper circles away.
Trooper throws out a loose jab but White uses good head movement to avoid it.
Trooper misses the jab.
A left lands for White.
White rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Trooper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Trooper misses with a few strikes there.
Paul White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
White slips a jab from Trooper.
White slips a jab and a cross from Trooper.
Trooper jabs White to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Super Trooper is winning the standup battle so far.
Trooper clobbers White with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

White is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Trooper looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
White smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
White throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Trooper throws out a loose jab but White uses good head movement to avoid it.
Trooper has a takedown stuffed.
A left lands for Trooper.
Trooper lands with a nice body punch.
Trooper lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Paul White has been cut.
White ducks under a wild hook from Trooper.
White defending well as Trooper loads up on a big left hand.

and White counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Trooper!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

White looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

White looking for a guillotine from mount but Trooper is having none of it.
White scoring with strikes but Trooper is staying in there.

White is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Trooper has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Trooper!
Trooper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Trooper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Trooper wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.
Trooper is in close to White's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Trooper slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Trooper wants to lay and pray for a moment but White keeps working.
White gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Trooper sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Super Trooper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Trooper lands with some vicious ground and pound - can White hang on?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Trooper wants to control the pace but White is squirming around nicely.
White tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Super Trooper dominated that second round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


White rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Trooper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
White keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Horrible takedown by White or perhaps it was just good defense by Trooper which made him look bad.
Trooper throws the left hand but White avoids the punch easily.
White takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A looping hook to the body misses from White. Trooper does a little dance to reset his feet.
Trooper moves out of range of the strikes.
White ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and White decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Trooper's guard.
Trooper controls White momentarily but White frees himself.

Trooper pulls White in close to his closed guard and prevents White from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
White advances position into side control!
Trooper wants to control but White postures up.
Trooper is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked White off and has taken his back!

Trooper looking to hold on to the position here but White rolls and ends up regaining guard.

Trooper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Trooper trying to control but White is working from the bottom.
This has been an exciting period of action!

White looking for a guillotine here but Trooper defends easily.
Trooper wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
White is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Super Trooper is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

White looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Trooper is pushing down on White's leg trying to pass to half guard. White is fighting to maintain full guard but Trooper has managed to sneak the leg through.
Paul White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Trooper works his way into side control.
White gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
White takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Trooper can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as White is looking to escape.
White swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Trooper looking to control and managing it successfully.

And that's the end of the fight!
Super Trooper showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Trooper, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Super Trooper tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
