Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Nick Pierre has been cut.
Pierre throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Watanabe's waist but Watanabe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pierre off to one side.
Pierre misses with a takedown attempt - Watanabe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Watanabe closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pierre's guard.
Pierre has momentary wrist control but Watanabe slips an elbow through the middle.

Pierre is rocked!

Watanabe loads up on a big left hand. Pierre felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Watanabe looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Pierre can't hide his disappointment, as Watanabe celebrates the victory.
