Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Ariffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Toby Garcia was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Toby Garcia !
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ariffin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Garcia 's head backwards.
It looks like Toby Garcia has been cut.
Ariffin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
No luck for Ariffin with that takedown attempt.
Ariffin tries to clinch but Garcia is having none of it.
Garcia closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ariffin did well to prevent Garcia getting side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Garcia throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Ariffin wants to control but Garcia is keeping busy.
Garcia is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ariffin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Garcia .
Garcia is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Ariffin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Garcia 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Garcia 's back!
Garcia just trying to survive but Ariffin is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Garcia rolls, trying to escape but Ariffin keeps control of the position.
Ariffin doesn't have the hooks in and Garcia manages to turn into his guard.
Garcia postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Garcia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Garcia throws a big elbow that misses.
Garcia makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Garcia stays in close to Ariffin's body and controls the position.
Let's hope that Garcia has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Garcia throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ariffin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Garcia drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ariffin dives on top into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Garcia wants to hit a switch here but Ariffin passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Garcia there!
Garcia is trying desperately to improve position.

Garcia regains half guard.
Garcia is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ariffin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ariffin's back!
Garcia has his arm under Ariffin's chin here. Game over son! Garcia squeezes tightly and Ariffin is forced to tap out!
