Cunnigham takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Oh Cunnigham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wayne fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cunnigham has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cunnigham. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Cunnigham stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wayne.
Wayne stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wayne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wayne lands a big uppercut and Cunnigham crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cunnigham looks OK. Wayne waves Cunnigham back to his feet!

Wayne cracks Cunnigham with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cunnigham tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Wayne pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cunnigham is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zachariah Wayne!
