Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Debo Micthell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Griff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Debo Micthell has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Debo Micthell seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Micthell tries to clinch

and Griff counters by moving into the clinch.

Griff escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Ryan Griff has been cut.

Griff wants the takedown. Micthell is fighting it off but Griff persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Micthell's guard against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
