The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Cayro, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Cayro against the cage but Cayro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cayro displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson.
Calvin Cayro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Jackson.

Jackson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cayro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Cayro is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Cayro is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jackson pulls his head out easily.

Jackson is working to tighten is grip on Cayro's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Cayro has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jackson is really squeezing tight and eventually Cayro passes out! Jackson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
