Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Jose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matteo Minonzio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minonzio has chosen Metallica Enter Sandman as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackson Jose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jose tries to sprawl but Minonzio drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Minonzio works his way into full mount!
Minonzio working for a guillotine from mount but Jose is in no mood to give up.
Minonzio goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jose turns into him and now he's in Minonzio's guard.
Jose trying to control but Minonzio is working from the bottom.
Minonzio wants to get back to his feet but Jose is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Minonzio has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jose off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Minonzio jumps guard and drags Jose to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Minonzio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Minonzio is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jose to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jose shrugs it off.
Minonzio swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jose is now in Minonzio's guard. A big mistake from Minonzio there, giving up the dominant position!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Minonzio throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jose blocks it with crossed arms.

Minonzio jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jose walks away with a smile on his face. Minonzio gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Minonzio drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jose manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Minonzio has Jose in his guard.
