PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howie Feltersnatch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clifford Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnston has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clifford Johnston!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Feltersnatch tries to sprawl but Johnston drives through with a takedown into half guard.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Johnston has eaten all the pies!

Johnston won't allow Feltersnatch to get back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Feltersnatch is looking to improve his position but Johnston isn't that keen on the idea.

Feltersnatch tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnston swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Feltersnatch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnston sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Feltersnatch somewhat.

The referee is keeping an eye on Johnston - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

I would just about give that final round to Clifford Johnston.
I think Johnston has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
