Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darren Ewen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucky Seven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ewen closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Seven darts in trying to clinch
and Ewen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Seven won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ewen cracks Seven with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Ewen takes a little break here. Seven wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ewen stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Ewen misses with a head kick.
Ewen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Seven's half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Seven blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ewen.
Still in half guard, Ewen seems content to control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Ewen is nestled in close to Seven, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ewen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ewen lands strikes from half guard.

Seven pushes Ewen off looking to stand but Ewen dives back in and keeps control.
Ewen is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Seven!

Ewen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Seven for as long as he can get away with.

Ewen is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Seven is forced to tap! Great finish!
