And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Benkei Musashibo!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Musashibo enables Kross to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Musashibo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kross wants to pass the guard but Musashibo is keeping the position.
Kross throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kross throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Musashibo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Musashibo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kross frees his head nicely. Oh but Musashibo has switched to an armbar! Kross is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
