Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mr Chaotic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mr Chaotic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maxwell Alexander!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander tries to clinch up but Chaotic circles away and keeps his distance.
Chaotic throws a head kick that misses.
A swing and a miss from Alexander.
Chaotic is trying hard to land a takedown here. Alexander sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Alexander shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Chaotic tries to roll over but Alexander keeps him under control.
Chaotic gets full guard.
Alexander wanted to stand there but Chaotic had control of the position.

Chaotic uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Alexander tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Alexander shoots in looking for a takedown. Chaotic tries to sprawl out of it but Alexander keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chaotic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chaotic checks a leg kick nicely.
No luck for Chaotic with that takedown attempt.

Chaotic shoots in and gets a takedown into Alexander's guard.
Chaotic throws a big right hand that misses.
Chaotic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Alexander keeping moving, preventing Chaotic from controlling successfully.

Chaotic decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Alexander looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Chaotic drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Chaotic decides to stand back up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Chaotic moves into range and clinches up with Alexander.
Alexander has a couple of punches blocked by Chaotic.
Alexander wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Alexander misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Chaotic.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chaotic prevents a takedown attempt there.
Chaotic lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Chaotic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chaotic shoots for a double leg takedown but Alexander sprawls well. He's pushed Chaotic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Chaotic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chaotic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chaotic lands in his opponent's guard.

Chaotic stands up from Alexander's guard - Chaotic perhaps looking for a knockout.

Chaotic closes the distance and clinches.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chaotic missing with knees to the body.
Alexander tries to break free but Chaotic pushes him back against the cage.

Chaotic has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Alexander regains guard immediately.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chaotic trying to control but Alexander is working from the bottom.
Chaotic working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chaotic content to stall in guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Chaotic dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Chaotic tries to clinch but Alexander is having none of it.
Alexander throws a head kick but Chaotic moves out of range.

Chaotic drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Mr Chaotic overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Chaotic lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Chaotic moves into full mount!
Alexander is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Chaotic in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Chaotic lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Alexander is breathing heavily.
Alexander is looking to improve his position but Chaotic isn't that keen on the idea.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Chaotic gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Chaotic shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alexander napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Chaotic trying to control the action but Alexander is working from the bottom.
Alexander is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Alexander is trying to control Chaotic's posture but Chaotic avoids it.

Chaotic stands up.

Alexander gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chaotic pushing down on Alexander's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Chaotic lands a nice short elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chaotic connects with a nice short shot to Alexander's temple.
Chaotic thows a huge punch but Alexander dodges it nicely.

Chaotic wants to work for an arm triangle but Alexander is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Chaotic stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Alexander to get to his feet.
Chaotic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Chaotic shoots in and bounces Alexander off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Chaotic gets to his feet - Alexander follows without any prompting.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No joy there for Chaotic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chaotic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Alexander fails with an attempt to clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alexander's corner calls for a 1-2. Alexander obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Chaotic throws a sloppy head kick and Alexander moves out of range easily.
Alexander misses with a takedown attempt - Chaotic sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Chaotic dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Chaotic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alexander was covering up waiting for the punch and Chaotic finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Chaotic slows the pace down.

Chaotic is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Alexander looks calm but he's in trouble here. Chaotic gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Alexander is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Chaotic lets go of the hold and Alexander can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mr Chaotic!
